Marneus Augustus Calgar is a character in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, Lord Protector of Greater Ultramar, and Lord of Macragge, the capital world of the Kingdom of Ultramar on the Eastern Fringe of the galaxy.

Biography He did not come from a noble house; he was a servant of the House of Calgar and bore the name Tasithan. He underwent secret procedures that transformed him into a powerful Primaris Space Marine, making him stronger than the average brother within the Chapter. Following the resurrection of Roboute Guilliman, the Primarch appointed Calgar as Lord Protector of Greater Ultramar to lead the effort to liberate the realm from the forces of Chaos while Guilliman embarked on the Terran Crusade.

Weapon The Gauntlets of Ultramar are twin power fists with attached bolters, allowing Calgar to both crush enemies in close combat and snipe them from afar. An Iron Halo is a personal force field against ranged attacks and often warp forces.
