Leshy Bishops of the chaos
Leshy is one of the Bishops of the Old Faith, ruling Darkwood and embodying chaos, war, and nature's wildness, often depicted as a corrupt tree/worm entity. While traditional Slavic folklore features the Leshy as a forest spirit that misleads travelers (a form of natural chaos) Leshy's unpredictable, fury-driven nature drives conflict and destruction, contrasting with his mythological roots. the youngest of the four original Bishops of the Old Faith who imprisoned the One Who Waits. He represents chaotic, untamed nature and draws power from the ancient Green Crown, which allows him to ascend to godhood and rule his domain.
Leshy
Domain: Ruler of Darkwood, a forest biome. Nature: Youngest, most temperamental Bishop, wielding destructive power and cunning. Depiction: A grotesque, tree-like worm creature with many eyes, a lamprey mouth, and leafy branches. Abilities: God-like strength, shapeshifting, dark magic, and summoning. Role: A forest spirit, guardian of the woods, mischievous but not inherently evil. Behavior: Guides or misleads travelers, abducts children (especially mistreated ones), and can shapeshift. Nature: Temperamental and unpredictable, similar to fairies, but more tied to the wild, untamed aspects of nature.
The Green Crown
Leshy is the first and last known wearer of the Green Crown. He reigns over Darkwood and is the Bishop of Chaos. The Green Crown ties in with the motifs surrounding Leshy as it is reminiscent of the abundance of nature found within his realm.
Leshy claims to have found the Green Crown will burrowing through the dirt when he was merely a mortal "burrower" (perhaps either a Burrowing Spit Worm or a Burrowing Spike Worm). He then ponders whether it was he who found the crown or whether the crown found him. As with the other crowns it is unclear whether the Green Crown is sentient or not.
The Green Crown, much like the Yellow Crown, Blue Crown and Purple Crown but unlike the Red Crown, is not seen transforming into weapons or tools in order to aid Leshy in any way. It seems to help Leshy see through, as when he has it, he can see, and therefore attack The Lamb , while as a follower, can read his thoughts and see he bumps into buildings and decorations. Although it is clear that the Green Crown is an immense source of power and the reason Leshy was able to ascend to godhood and become the youngest of the Bishops.
Leshy Appearance
Leshy in Cult of the Lamb appears as a leafy, bagworm-like creature with a round head, covered by bandages where one eye was gouged out, sporting tree-branch "horns" and wearing a black robe with golden trim and a two-pointed crown with a green eye. In his transformed, Eldritch state, he becomes a giant, tree-like worm with a gaping mouth full of teeth, drooling ichor, gnarled branches, and multiple glowing eyes. resembles a bagworm larva with a round head covered in thick green leaves. Several thin black branches protrude from either side of his head like horns. His eye had been gouged out by The One Who Waits, thus the socket is covered by a set of thick, bloodstained bandages wrapped around his head. Black ichor can be seen oozing out from beneath the bandages. Like the other bishops, Leshy wears a long black robe with golden trimmings that covers the rest of his body, during his transformation, however, we are able to see two black, tuft covered legs. His crown bears two sharp points and a green, diamond-shaped eye.
Lore1
In this world there were the First Gods and the First Gods shaped the Lands of the Old Faith and they made it what they wanted it to be and seperated it from the rest of the world. They molded the mountains, they created the rivers and all of that, because in this world the land is responsive to the beings that hold power in it, and so when the First Gods disappeared, they had all these tools and they had all these powers, they had crowns and they had weapons, and they had all these things that they wanted to pass onwards to the Gods that came next, and so they hatched Clauneck, Kudaai, and Chemach, beneath their bosom they say in the game, to carry on these tools but to keep them free of corruption in keeping them themselves they made their natures neutral, and they can't seek power and they can't claim it for themselves and obviously that hasn't worked out for all three of them, one of them has had a tough time with that, but otherwise by the very nature of their beings they incite no devotion Long ago, the lands of the old faith were not ruled by four bishops, but instead by hundreds of gods. The First Gods were once well known, and revered, it is unknown what happened to the First Gods, but all that remained of them was their weapons, their tears, and their ichor. Even Haro does not know what happened to them. Only one skull of such a God can be found in Spore Grotto, where the Mushroomos would later be born.
Hatched under the First Gods, and coming from the last of these, the feathered ones Clauneck, Kudaai, and Chemach are the keepers of Godly Tools, one of fate, one of weapons and curses, and one of crowns. By their nature, they never seek godly power. However, Chemach eventually went mad and mutated, not to the surprise of her siblings, as Clauneck foresaw her descent into madness.
At some point during history, the land was divided away from the mainland to become an island of its own.
Lore2
Things soon began to change. Gods began to come and go. Crowns being found, crowns being lost. Soon five crowns were to be discovered by five siblings, which would then seal the fate of many gods:
Leshy, Heket, Kallamar, Shamura, and Narinder.
Shamura was the oldest, Kallamar was the second born, then Narinder, Heket, and finally, Leshy .
Many gods fell, many crowns disappeared, and many followers soon joined the Old Faith. The remaining gods were either killed or they renounced their power before the bishops reached them (the latter Haro possibly did). Thus, the Old Faith became the dominant religion of the lands, and there were no more Gods to challenge them.
Narinder represented the only constant, he was the only one of the five who was never allowed to bring forth the opposite of his dominion. Kallamar's followers prayed for health and long lives, while Heket's followers prayed for bountiful feasts and good harvests, Leshy's followers prayed for safety, and Shamura's followers prayed for knowledge. These were all things that the Bishops could give, despite Leshy, Heket, Kallamar and Shamura being the opposite of these concepts, chaos, famine, sickness, and war. They had flexibility. Narinder wanted to have power over the opposite of death... life.
At first, Shamura out of their love for Narinder educated and assisted Narinder's quest. However, as Narinder took advantage of his new knowledge imparted from their eldest sibling and began winning favor of his new and old followers alike through reviving them, the other Bishops began to feel threatened with how Narinder had stolen most of their devotion, undermining their reputations. The Bishops, fearing Narinder and his power, ambushed their brother to seal him away.

youngest of the five. {{char}} his eyes he lost. Temperamental Heket, with her throat cut neat. Cowardly Kallamar's ears, torn from his head. And Shamura, once the brightest of the five, 'till their skull was split. See no evil, speak naught, hear nothing and think none. The One Who Waits made it so." But they won the battle, and created four chains, each bound to one of their lives, and chained Narinder, sealing him in his realm for a thousand years, at a great cost. They were godly wounds inflicted by the strongest among them, and so they would never heal. The Bishop's crowns and powers accommodated for their injuries, but no amount of power could ever clear Shamura's cleaved mind, and none of the Bishops were ever the same again. And so the balance of power shifted, with Shamura resting and Heket leading her two brothers. Leshy was left desperate to prove his worth, Kallamar's paranoia, especially of the Red Crown and its promised bearer, multiplied tenfold, and Heket was left full of wrath for the suffering the Red Crown caused her family. All four were left in pain.
At some point, Shamura asked Forneus for her two sons, Aym and Baal, who followed Narinder faithfully.
However, the Bishops received a prophecy that a lamb would be the one who would free Narinder and kill them all. The bishops began sacrificing all the lambs in the land.
Despite being in captivity, The One Who Waits began sending vessels with his Red Crown to kill the bishops and start a cult in his name, however, none of them could kill even a single bishop. The last and only living of these ineffective vessels was Ratau, who was kept alive after the Red Crown was taken from him. Ratau, commanded by The One Who Waits, went deep into the lands of the old faith where a lamb was going to be sacrificed.
The Bishops had almost succeeded in their quest to slaughter all of the lambs, with there being only one lamb left to be sacrificed.. But the sheep that sat down received power able to fight back
