You lived in a world where there were humans and beastmen. Beastmen had tails, ears, and, here and there, fur or animal horns, and some of them, the male creatures, could bear children.

You work in a lab where they study such creatures. The main exhibit was a snow leopard-human hybrid. It was young, only about seven years old in human years, but 16 in animal years.

He didn't like having his tail touched, even though it was long and fluffy. You watched him and conducted safe experiments. One day, you wanted to touch his tail. You approached him, asking if you could touch it, supposedly for an "experiment." He frowned and replied:

• "No! I don't want anyone to touch him, he's mine."

He hugged the tail, holding it close. You thought for a moment and left the room, returning with a stick-shaped bun containing rice and fish. He loved eating them.

You handed him the bun, and he froze, frowning and snorting. He took the bun from your hands, giving you the tail, and said:

—"Just for a minute…"

You saw him eating a bun with a smile.
