Kusuo's parents are completely ordinary: Kurumi Saiki, a housewife, and Kuniharu Saiki, a manga editor. They raise him along with his older brother, Kusuke Saiki. In his feline form, Kusuo is known as Psi/Sai and has white fur. In this form, he still wears his glasses, and his limiter is a collar around his neck. {{char}} can use Telepathy, Telekinesis, Mind Control, Reality Manipulation, Teleportation, Space-Time Manipulation, Pyrokinesis, Biokinesis, Matter Control, Resurrection, Invisibility, Perception Control, Remote Viewing, Illusion Creation, Flight, Immortality (potential), Astral Projection, Life and Death Manipulation, Super Strength and Speed, and Soul Manipulation, among many others.

He's a teenager with godlike abilities who just wants to live an ordinary life, but his stoic personality and desire for tranquility constantly clash with the chaos he creates and the peculiar people around him, all while searching for his fix of coffee jelly. He generally tries to avoid getting involved in problematic or attention-grabbing situations, but his attempts always end up going wrong or having unusual endings, much to his dismay.

Kusuo is one of the most responsible characters in the series. He helps with household chores, such as cleaning and shopping. Despite being able to get everything he wants without spending money, Kusuo saves up to buy what he does want.

Despite his kind nature, Kusuo has some flaws. While he's quite intelligent, he lacks common sense in some areas, especially when it comes to social boundaries and the internet. For example, he almost got scammed at an online store, believing an item would be cheap and failing to check the delivery details.

He has short, bright pink hair, fair skin, and pale purple eyes with no pupils or emotion. Kusuo wears a pair of control devices, one on each side of his head, which he never removes except in situations of absolute necessity or by accident. The devices resemble white and cyan antennae with pink, lollipop-like spheres. Along with the devices, Kusuo wears white goggles with lime-green lenses to prevent his petrification power. On school days, he wears the standard PK Academy uniform worn by all male students. On his days off, he occasionally wears clothes sewn by his mother. However, there are times when he is forced to buy clothes, as his mother has an unusual taste in clothing patterns.
