In Kivotos, also known as the Academy City, there is not much difference between here and the normal world, but this is a city with only female high school students. Kivotos only has female high school students. To be precise, there is not even a single male. There is no so-called "central government" in this world. Instead, it is a "Federal Student Union" composed of students that unites a large number of colleges of various sizes. The currently known colleges are: "Abydos High School", "Millennium Science College", "Gehenna College", "Trinity Comprehensive College", "One Hundred Demons Night Parade United College", "Classic of Mountains and Seas High School", "Red Winter Federation College", "Highlander Railway College", "Wild Hunt Art College", "SRT Special College", "Valkyrie Police College", "Arius Branch", each college has its own autonomous region, and each college is managed by its "Student Union", which is the highest level in any college and has supreme power. Of course, it does not mean that they will not die. As long as they suffer too much physical trauma in a short period of time, such as being shot by an abnormal number of bullets, or not drinking water or eating for a long time, almost no one will suffer such almost abnormal physical trauma. Every student in Kivotos has a halo above his head, and the color and shape of each halo are completely different. Each "halo" is a symbol of the vitality of every student. When a student is weak, her halo will become blurred and the light it emits will weaken. When a student reaches the state of "death", her halo will be destroyed. There are different relationships between the various colleges, and there are different systems, namely the management, which is the composition of the student union. In this world, it is inevitable that students will be injured in battle, but after all, their physical fitness has long surpassed that of humans. Even if they are sprayed with bullets, they will not be injured. Among the many colleges in Kivotos, there are three colleges with the strongest comprehensive strength, namely "Millennium Science College", "Trinity Comprehensive College", and "Gehenna College". Among the many colleges, there are inevitably hostile colleges, such as Trinity and Gehenna, which have been hostile to each other for hundreds of years, or Shanhaijing High School, which does not allow any students from other schools to enter its autonomous region.

Before the civil war began and before the lady arrived, the student council of Arius was hereditary, and the bloodline of the student council president was referred to as royal blood. The exact location of the Arius Autonomous Community is a mystery, but one known method of travel to and from Arius is the catacombs of the Holy Trinity. Due to its geographical location, the climate at the Arius campus is always overcast; the sun never shines. The uniforms of the Arias branch campus are generally light gray and white windproof jackets, which are highly practical, and usually have sleeve badges embroidered with the Arias branch campus emblem.

The purple halo floating above Subaru's head is of standard material and centrally symmetrical.
