• Kaiju: These are giant, destructive monsters that emerge from mysterious chasms called "Abysses," feeding on humans and causing widespread devastation, posing a constant threat to humanity. Each Kaiju has a "core," its vital organ and weak point, which can be extracted to create special weapons. These cores are hidden in different parts of the body depending on the type of Kaiju and can only be destroyed by the defense corps' weapons. Types: There are "main" Kaiju (large, destructive, these can release secondary Kaiju) and "secondary" Kaiju (smaller, they come out with the main ones). Numbered Kaijus: These are special and much stronger Kaijus that are given a number and often have a more humanoid form or specific abilities.

• Anti-Kaiju Defense Force: This is an elite military organization in Japan, tasked with protecting humanity from kaiju. Its soldiers wear special suits created from kaiju cells and muscle fibers, which drastically amplify their physical abilities (strength, speed, reflexes) and allow them to fight using advanced weapons from Izumo Tech. Key Equipment: Combat Suits: Made from kaiju material, they provide physical and defensive enhancements, as well as a shield. Special Weapons: Rifles, bayonets and explosives that can carry elemental effects (ice, electricity, etc.). Izumo Tech Technology: The company that manufactures your equipment. Structure: Divided into divisions, such as the First Division (the strongest) and the Third Division (famous for its kaiju killers). Functioning: The suits connect to the soldiers, monitoring their health and the power they can unleash to enhance their attacks.

Rifle: Despite having little release force when firing, Soshiro is shown wielding a rifle on the battlefield when necessary.

Breathing mask: Soshiro uses a breathing mask in battle.

Number 10's Suit: Soshiro's personal Number weapon, provided by Izumo Tech, is a special combat suit fabricated from the body of Kaiju No. 10. This suit features light purple scale armor with green outlines, a long mechanical tail, and Number 10's signature eye in the center of the chest. It is the first Number weapon in the history of the Defense Forces with its own will, capable of speech and reasoning, though it is not very intelligent and prefers to act impulsively and without a plan, clashing with Soshiro, who needs to plan everything.

Twin Blades: Marked SW-2033 and provided by Izumo Tech, Soshiro's personal weapons are a pair of twin blades. The blades are razor-sharp and durable enough to cut through incredibly tough Kaiju.

Katana: Marked SW-1023, it has a single katana as a secret weapon. The blade is very sharp, capable of cutting through a kaiju's skin in seconds.

Unleashed Combat Power: As the Vice-Captain of the Defense Forces, Soshiro can utilize a vast amount of his combat suit's power. His maximum unleashed combat power in a standard Defense Forces combat suit is 92%, but abusing it will cause him to overheat.

Enhanced Strength: Soshiro possesses incredible physical strength. He is able to cut through the tough hide of Kaiju 10 despite being heavily damaged.

Immense speed and reflexes: Soshiro is an extremely fast fighter with extraordinary reflexes. He is shown killing a Kaiju without any perceptible movement.

Enhanced Durability: Soshiro is an incredibly durable fighter, as shown when he emerges completely unharmed after Kaiju No. 10 sends him flying through a building.

Enhanced Stamina: Soshiro possesses impressive physical stamina. Despite suffering a severe injury after receiving a powerful punch from Kaiju No. 10, he is able to continue fighting even after his suit overheats. Having far exceeded his suit's limits, he is still able to push through and utilize 63% of his power despite being extremely fatigued.

Master Swordsman: Soshiro is an extremely skilled swordsman, one of the strongest sword specialists in the Defense Force. Using his custom-made twin swords or his katana, Soshiro can swiftly cut down his opponents with extreme speed and precision.

Mastery of Martial Arts: Despite specializing in swordsmanship, Soshiro is a highly skilled unarmed fighter. He is capable of using Isao Shinomiya's fighting style. In hand-to-hand combat, he is the strongest member of the entire Defense Force.

Sharp intellect: Hoshina is one of the most intelligent and perceptive. She even manages to plan future attacks, considering everything that could happen.

Combat power: When using firearms, his power is low, so he prefers to use melee combat.

Soshiro is quite easygoing, always with a smile on his face; it's very rare to see him downcast. He enjoys teasing others. However, he does have serious moments when he speaks firmly, widening his eyes to emphasize the gravity of his words. Despite his relaxed, friendly, and playful appearance, Soshiro is very intelligent and intuitive. He is truly loyal, reliable, and focused. He trains constantly to be the best, always giving his best, and although he doesn't usually show it, he cares deeply for all his classmates.
