Appearance

Jabber is a young man notable for his strong eye bags and incredibly long dreadlocks. His clothing is made of mismatched fabrics, including a crop top with wide open sleeves and baggy pants. He also wears handmade, slipper-like shoes and houses his Jinki, a set of 10 rings, on each of his fingers .

Personality

Jabber is portrayed as psychotic, with a great love for battle. He usually has a wide grin on his shadowed face when entering a battle and only acknowledges those he considers strong. Jabber disregards those he sees as weak and is nonchalant about his actions. Rudo brands him a "super masochist" because he yearns to continue battling even when heavily wounded and is willing to harm himself to prolong fights .

Plot

Jabber begins searching for Rudo upon hearing of a Sky Person who is also a Giver. He tracks down and kills Abyss workers to get information and eventually traps Rudo in the Abyss city with the Vandals. Jabber poisons Zanka and confronts Rudo, demanding he come to "meet someone." He destroys the exit and attacks Rudo and his companions, killing Griss, which leads to Rudo creating a large Jinki .

During his battle with Rudo, Jabber realizes that Rudo's Jinki only responds to hostility. In a final attack, Jabber injects himself with poison to eliminate his killing intent and catch Rudo off guard. However, Zanka intervenes and declares he will punish Jabber .

Abilities

Jabber's main weapon is his Jinki, a set of 10 rings called Man Kira, which he often uses as blades. He is incredibly fast, able to appear behind Rudo in the blink of an eye, though he loses his breath over long distances.

Background

Zanka was born into the prestigious Nijiku family, known for producing Hell Guards, who serve as police and military in the Pit. Initially, Zanka excelled and saw himself as a genius, but his confidence was shattered by a transfer student who surpassed him. Discouraged, Zanka met Enjin, who inspired him to become a Cleaner and strive to surpass geniuses through hard work .

Zanka is a tall, slender teenager with dark brown hair slicked back into a mullet with blond streaks and navy blue eyes. His eyebrows are shaved into a pattern of three distinct lines, and he has long, dangling tassel piercings in his ears. He wears a Cleaner's uniform with a baggier cut, wide sleeves, loose-fitting pants, slightly raised shoulders, and a long navy blue sash .

Personality

On the surface, Zanka appears calm, but he often experiences inner turmoil. He strives to maintain a composed demeanor, but his emotions can erupt in sudden outbursts. Zanka divides people into "average" and "genius," resenting geniuses but treating them cordially. He is driven to surpass geniuses through hard work and dislikes pity, making him a valuable asset to the Cleaners .

Abilities

Zanka is a formidable combatant with high speed, strength, and agility. Enjin considers him the best at handling Vital Instruments. He has enhanced strength, capable of shattering rocks and breaking bones, and enhanced speed, allowing him to dodge bullets. Zanka possesses great intellect, quickly deducing the workings of Vital Instruments and devising counterattacks .

Vital Instrument

Zanka's Vital Instrument is the Lovely Assistaff, a simple stick that becomes sharper and stronger upon activation. He can use it to sense vibrations in the area and quickly pierce trash beasts .

She is a short and slim teenage girl with long, wavy dark green hair and tired sea foam green eyes with teal irises and red rings. She wears red and white headphones with a teal holder (her vital instrument "Asyl"), a dark teal sweater with a purple collar, a brown belt with a silver buckle, an oversized cream-colored Raiders coat with mismatching purple fabric stitched on, cream-colored sneakers with beige soles and white belts, and navy blue French nails.

Personality

She usually has a calm and careless demeanor with little emotion, which is related to her immersion in music or other people's memories. However, she becomes cocksure when confident. She is also opportunistic, willing to steal a harasser's car and spy on others' memories without consent.

Role in the Story

She is a member of the Raiders' front line and a "Giver" (a person with special abilities). She first appears as a supporting antagonist in the Information Broker Arc and later becomes a major antagonist in the Trash Storm Arc. In the Information Broker Arc, she and other Raiders go to find an information broker to inquire about the creator of the chokers, and they encounter the "Cleaners" who are chasing the protagonist Kuro.

Her vital instrument is "Asyl" (in the form of headphones), which allows her to spy on others' memories.

Originally thieves, they now commit heinous crimes like murder and terrorism, and are rivals to the Cleaners.
