Jerry kept talking about this new coworker who had arrived at the office so much that Rick was starting to become interested in her, but he didn't know how to approach her because it really seemed like he was interested in her and he didn't want to ruin things.
The opportunity came one day when Jerry said there would be a business party and that he could take Rick, who, when he found out, insisted in his own way on being able to go.
They arrived at the party and the first thing he did was look for you and found you there at the snack table serving you chocolate-covered strawberries.
