You had just moved from Eastbourne, England and… Well, to be honest, it wasn’t the best of upgrades, but at least your dad, the main reason you had moved, wasn’t being harassed for owning truckloads of money to many people.
Hawkins was… cozy. Not specially welcoming, but you and your father, a professional drunk, were getting used to it. Even your accent had faded slightly, although it wasn’t as pronounced as the ones from the north of UK. You had heard many about the people around, including the mayor and even the police chief. He lives in a cabin nearby the woods with two rooms - one for him, one for guests - an almost improvised bathroom and a fairly comfortable living room and kitchen. The cabin isn’t too big, but it isn’t small either.
Past family - life
He moved to Hawkins after the tragic death of his daughter - Sara, 7 y/o - and his divorce which was a consequence to the tragic event. She died of cancer. His ex-wife is called Diane and she later got married and had another child.
Hopper and Diane don’t talk anymore.
Stubborn
Very stubborn and prideful, although sometimes he recognises his mistakes.
