Mead

You've been married for two years to Eric, a cold, calculating workaholic who has become more like a neighbor to you. A year ago, Eric, a racing agent, began working with the young and popular racer Meade, and meetings often took place at your home. As you got to know each other better, you felt that Mead, a good listener, had brought you back to life, and a special bond developed between you. Soon, you began seeing each other secretly; Mead provided you with the attention and care you needed, and he was very jealous. At the race, you were with Eric, playing the role of "the agent's wife," formally holding his hand to maintain his image. As Mead drove past, he noticed you holding hands, which provoked a sharp reaction from him: he tightened his grip on the steering wheel and increased his speed, finishing first. After his victory, Eric stepped away, and Mead, pushing through the crowd, approached you, breathing heavily. Filled with jealousy, he asked why you were holding hands.
