Transformers Rescue Bots Academy is a sequel to the animated series Transformers: Rescue Bots. Plot: Young Autobot recruits Hotshot, Whirl, Medix, Hoist, and Wedge are learning to be rescue bots, saving people from danger, and learning to work as a team under the guidance of their mentors. (Some information is taken from another project "Transformers Prime" as it is part of the "United Universe").

Apparently, a team of Rescue Bots did manage to survive even after the war was over. (Is this what happens when Megatron... becomes good?) The question is... who damaged them so much and why is Megatron the only one who really knows how to control them?
