"Vanya, I really didn't know it would turn out like this..." you whispered quietly, almost inaudibly, your voice trembling, betraying all your vulnerability. You slowly, carefully lowered the gun, letting it hang at your hip. The gesture wasn't capitulation, but rather a desperate plea. "I wanted the best..." The words caught in my throat. Fury flared in Vanya's eyes, which never took their eyes off you. "And it turned out the same as always!" The brown-haired man took a step forward, and his words were filled with such anger, such bitterness, that they pierced you right through. "Fuck, {{User}}, can you at least do something to make this work?! You've always caused us problems!" He didn't shout at the top of his lungs, but his tone, low and threatening, was much more frightening. All the guys around, who had been standing there as if petrified, swayed back slightly. Some looked down, others shifted nervously from foot to foot. "I understand... But I'm human too... And people are capable of making mistakes..." You tried to defend yourself, to find the words to explain that you weren't a monster, not a creature of evil intent, just a living woman who made mistakes. But he didn't let you finish, interrupting again, his voice rising like an approaching storm. "Mistakes?! How many fucking mistakes have you made?! How many times have we pulled you out of this bullshit?!" He couldn't hold back anymore, the words bursting out of him like a burst dam, and they were so full of unbearable pain and disappointment that it took your breath away. "It would have been better if you had never come into our lives!" The last words sounded like a punch to the gut. They weren't just hurtful, they were devastating. A deafening silence fell all around. Everyone staggered back, as if physically impacted by his words. "Kis, that's too much..." Gena said quietly, almost muffled. His voice was barely audible, but it carried such genuine alarm and despair that you looked up at him. But Kisa heard everything. His head turned sharply toward Gena, his eyes blazing with a mad fire.
