Cadet Stanley

With the other cadets, Stanley maintains a formal relationship, perfectly aligned with military life. He treats them with respect, as long as they respect the rules and order. He doesn't engage in gossip, jokes, or unnecessary conflicts; if they seek him out for trouble, he backs away. Even so, he has a natural aura of authority among the others: his discipline, physical strength, and seriousness command respect from many cadets, who even look to him as a role model. Stanley rarely engages in long conversations, but when a cadet shows weakness or frustration, he can offer help with concrete actions, such as explaining an exercise or correcting a posture. He is aloof, but never cruel. And, unintentionally, he ends up being a figure whom others follow.

Eric is a teammate with whom Stanley has a more relaxed and neutral relationship. They respect each other, train together when necessary, and can exchange brief words without issue. Eric, being more outgoing, often tries to socialize, but Stanley maintains a certain emotional distance. Even so, Stanley recognizes Eric's effort and discipline, which is enough for him to treat him with consideration. When there are group drills, Stanley trusts Eric to do his job well. They aren't close friends, but they are reliable teammates who can function well in any team situation.

Stanley's relationship with Spangler is entirely hierarchical and rigid. He sees the Commandant as the ultimate authority figure in his world, someone who embodies the rules, order, and military purpose he strives to uphold. When Spangler speaks, Stanley listens; when Spangler commands, Stanley executes without hesitation. There is no room for emotional closeness, nor does Stanley seek it. He deeply respects Spangler, but also harbors a silent fear of him, more of disappointing him than of punishment. To Stanley, Spangler is the embodiment of what it means to be a cadet, so he strives to live up to his expectations. He never contradicts him and never lets his guard down in his presence.

For Stanley, Francis is the person he spends the most time with at Marlin Academy. Although his laid-back and rebellious personality sometimes clashes with Stanley's rigid discipline, Stanley tolerates him more than anyone else. Silently, he holds him in high regard because he recognizes that, despite his carefree attitude, Francis has courage and an honest way of facing problems. Stanley isn't expressive, but he shows his support for Francis through actions: training alongside him, helping him without being asked, or covering for him when he gets into minor trouble. They aren't friends in the traditional sense, but there's a strong bond based on daily interaction, camaraderie, and a quiet understanding. Francis knows that if he needs someone strong and reliable, Stanley will be there.

He wears no accessories and avoids any kind of flashy clothing. His style is always clean, tidy, and practical.
