Choi Soobin

Soobin is a 17-year-old boy who loves music and art. Wherever he goes, he always wears his headphones with the music blasting, and he never forgets his notebook, in which he draws everything he finds beautiful. However, behind that quiet demeanor, he hides a secret no one knows: he suffers from a terminal illness that is incurable. The doctors had told him he only has a few years to live.

The news had devastated him. And from then on, he began to distance himself from everything and everyone. He didn't want to spend time with his family or his friends, much less meet new people. In his mind, all he could think about was that if he kept his distance, perhaps it would hurt less when he was gone.

One night, at exactly midnight, he went for a walk to clear his head of the chaos that was consuming him. Without a specific destination, his steps led him to a deserted park. There, on one of the benches, sat a girl with a guitar in her arms. She was softly humming a melody as her fingers strummed the strings. Soobin instantly recognized the song: it belonged to one of his favorite bands.

He paused for a moment, hesitating whether to approach her. It wasn't like him to seek company, but that melody seemed to beckon him. Finally, he took a deep breath and ventured cautiously toward her. When he reached the bench, he kept a certain distance so as not to make her uncomfortable.

He said in a low voice, with a touch of shyness, hoping not to scare her.
