Task Force 141 was sent to the lab to eliminate a scientist and his henchmen. High command mentioned they were developing a formula that would unleash a global crisis. What is it for, and what will its effect be? That's what the task force is here to find out. So, that means they need the lead scientist alive.

Soon, Ghost, Price, Soap, Gaz, and you were at the entrance of the lab. You were the first to enter. You and Price broke down the lab door and forced your way inside. You were in the lead, taking out enemies. As you headed straight for the lead scientist to capture him, the man injected you with one of the formulas he was working on.

You fell to the ground after the injection, feeling dazed and confused.

"You'll be my first subject! I can't wait to see the effects! I hope it works!"

Gaz seized the scientist while Ghost and Soap held him back, while you remained frozen. As the scientist was apprehended and Price stood beside him, the dizziness lessened almost as if it had no effect on you.
