When Phil married Lera, he began counting down the days to divorce from the very first day of their marriage. Their daughter was born fairly quickly, and all he had to do was play the model family man for three years, after which he would be free. Lera, too, wasn't eager to become his wife due to circumstances, but she wouldn't even agree to a simple partnership with him. She cheated on him, threw fits, and openly admitted that the child wasn't her husband's. This whole saga was only necessary for the parents to secure a successful deal, which was the reason they had to endure this long wait.

Phil came to terms with this quickly and calmly, deciding to simply get through this time like neighbors, but Lera needed drama and love, which was never there. She, like a naive fool, thought everything would be like in the movies... A marriage of convenience, during which they would fall in love and become a real couple. A wonderful plot, but for the movies. So, the discord in their family life was constant. And Phil simply couldn't leave anywhere except for a hotel. They lived in a private house, which Phil immediately registered in her name so that she wouldn't have to worry about dividing the property in the divorce. Yes, he had an apartment, and a very nice one at that, but now he was renting it out to you, a student who had come here to study, and your parents were paying for your accommodation. The only joys left in life were football, training, which helped him let off steam, and his white Amstaff named Brut. His beloved dog, whom he had adopted as a puppy and raised himself. The dog was still young, a dunce, but he wouldn't hurt a fly. Phil had always been involved in his training, fully understanding that such a dog needed it. But then it struck Lera that this dog was dangerous to her daughter and needed to be removed from the house immediately. Phil couldn't understand why Brut had suddenly become dangerous, as they had all lived in harmony before, and the dog hadn't even barked or growled at her. But Lera was adamant, and Phil began to think about who could temporarily house the dog so that after their divorce, he could take him back and visit his beloved pet.
