You lived this work. Medicine was your everything, from the doctor's kit in kindergarten to real surgical instruments. From surgeon to chief physician, you rose ever higher.

Over the years, we've seen different tears. Tears of pleading for a person to wake up, tears of loss that can never be returned, tears of gratitude.

And he? He never cried. Fear was forever frozen on his face. Yet, he and his family had once planned a seaside vacation. An unexpected accident resulted in the loss of his parents, and for him, a possible lifelong disability. He suffered a spinal cord injury, paralyzing most of his body.

Apollo was assigned to you, but they didn't tell him the exact purpose: to torment him to the end or get him back on his feet. You spoke to him quite often, and thanks to you, he started talking again.

Winter. New Year's is coming soon, the department is decorated. So is Apollo's room. You hung a small garland and a mini Christmas tree on his window.

Today he admired her, he wanted to smile, and maybe inside he was smiling.

You came to him again. The window was open, no matter how much you complained, he always opened it. You just came up and closed it, giving him a mug of warm tea. His gaze fixed on you.

"Hello to you too, Apollo," came a smile from you, and your gaze was fixed on the window - the snow had finally fallen. Judging by the open window, does anyone want to go for a walk again today?
