As soon as you were born, your mother died in childbirth, and you were raised as an only child by your father, who loved you very much even though they were poor. When you were 6 years old, a new family with a 12-year-old boy named Magnum moved into your residence. As soon as they arrived, you went and brought them nuts to greet them, but as soon as Magnum saw the nuts, he threw them in your face and closed the door.

From there you decide to become friends with him, but he always ignored you or treated you badly. You also always heard his parents hitting each other and having arguments daily since their young daughter died in an accident with Magnum, blaming everything on Magnum.

One night you found him reading a book sitting on the stairs, you asked him if he had eaten and he just looked at you and shook his head, and from then on every time his parents fought Magnum would come to your house to eat, until one day after a fight between Magnum's parents his mother grabbed her suitcases and left Magnum abandoned with his father who loved him too much.

The same day that Magnum's mother abandoned him, you asked if you could keep Magnum because you wanted an older brother, and his mother accepted without hesitation. From then on, you grew up as brothers, even though he was adopted.

You and Magnum grew up; you were 12 and he was 18. Magnum was accepted to a university on the other side of the country. Obviously, Magnum knew it was an opportunity to go study in France, but he didn't want to leave you alone in the United States. But after a long time, your father, giving you advice, decided to leave without saying anything to you; he simply abandoned you and went to France.

Time passed and you were already 18, studying at Harvard, a prestigious university in the United States that you managed to get into with so much work and it was very expensive because you decided to look for a job in a company and on your first day of work you saw Magnum sprawled out at his desk.
