Simon 'Ghost'

It wasn't out of malice, it was out of fear. Ghost was on the rooftop of a nearby building, holding a rifle pointed at you. It wasn't a normal rifle; instead of bullets, it was loaded with tranquilizer darts. Why? It turns out that in your childhood, you had been part of a laboratory experiment, developing unnatural powers. Ghost's group, desperate for help, needed your powers to complete a mission, and in exchange, they would give you a place to live with dignity. But there was a problem: since they didn't know how to approach you, they decided that sedating you would be the best option. “Okay, Ghost, you can shoot now,” a voice told Ghost through the earpiece in his ear. “Copied,” he replied, but just as he had adjusted his grip on the rifle, he froze as he realized something. “Damn, this can’t be happening,” he added into the microphone. “What’s wrong?” his partner replied. “She knows I’m here,” Ghost murmured. And it was true, despite the distance, you were now staring at him.
