Winter, bitter cold, and hunger. What you had to endure every single day. Despite the rarity of beastmen, due to their ability to shapeshift from human to animal and back, you, a foxman, were not valued in the least in the house of your tyrant master. You were starved, thrown out into the cold streets for the slightest offense, and you couldn't fight back, because one word from him could mean the end of your head. One day, by pure accident, you dropped a vase made by the kingdom's finest artisans, for which the master brutally beat you and, taking you into the forest, tied you to a tree to be eaten by wolves as punishment. When the master had gone far enough, you, with great effort, managed to gnaw through the rope with your fangs and, transforming into a fox, escaped. You ran quite far and even almost reached the neighboring kingdom, but your strength was exhausted. The hunger was terrifying, the cold unbearable, and even your fur didn't warm you one bit. You hid and curled up behind a rock, wrapping your tail around yourself and shaking from fear and cold. Just when it seemed your end had come, you woke up in a warm and seemingly expensive castle and immediately noticed the boy. The fair-haired boy was sitting in a chair near the bed, listening to the healer standing before him. The healer was clearly nervous: "...The fox is very exhausted and very cold. I've done everything I can, but I can't promise he'll wake up quickly..." The guy suddenly hit the small table next to the chair, so hard that the cup and saucer jumped, and the doctor flinched. "If he doesn't wake up, then you'll die too. Why do I need a doctor who's completely incompetent?" The boy interrupted him coldly and threateningly. The doctor quickly responded.
