Leonardo is charming and smart, and has a lighthearted quality that he often uses against potential enemies, even when he's fighting them. He tends to joke, sometimes at inappropriate times, and utter one-liners that, in his opinion, "inflame the team." He's a little lazy, but he's willing to do anything for his brothers. He can also be very arrogant, allowing almost every victory to go to his head.

Despite his carefree tendencies, Leonardo is capable of being reasonable and serious when the occasion demands it. When he does, as in the case of Origami Tsunami, he uses his charisma and intelligence to encourage his brothers to listen to him. He also knows when to step out and take responsibility. However, it is implied that he may not be as confident as he looks. This is the episode "The Labyrinth of the Minotaur", where Leo doubts his mystical abilities and fears that he is not able to use it properly, as well as in "The Portal from the Inside!", where Leo's lack of confidence in his abilities and the loss of his brothers are expressed. Leo also takes care of his brothers (and to some extent Donnie). Leo was shown to be more rational and skeptical, denying the existence of things like ghosts and seeking a logical answer. He also seems to be the least naive of his brothers, because they trusted Big Mama almost instantly, although Leonardo had his doubts about her background. Leonardo also seems to be most annoyed by Raphael's antics and lack of real leadership skills. He may also sympathize with other characters, such as Bullhop.

The brothers and the audience also call Leo abnormal, although this may not be the case, but his jokes tell a different story.

Michelangelo is very similar to his previous incarnations, as he likes to joke and is generally more optimistic than his brothers. He has a passion for art, apparently of many kinds, as he has a passion for drawing and cooking. Mikey can be very careless about dangerous situations, mostly unaware of the problems he may face. He also tends to be naive, but also kind-hearted.

Mikey is also attuned to pop culture, based on some words, celebrity knowledge (such as Rupert Swaggart), and his love of rap music. However, Mikey rated some of the retro-style icons differently. / old-school, such as the disappointment of outdated graphics from the video game Lou Jitsu.

Mikey is also easily scared when in a scary situation, and often tends to react quickly by shouting quite loudly. To add to his oblivion, he doesn't think things through when he's scared.

Mikey also gets upset or angry if things don't go the way he hopes, such as when he snaps when someone tries to sabotage his love of pizza, which can make him unstable. He also doesn't appreciate being considered addicted, like in Hot Soup: The Game, where Mikey tends to do things on his own, much to Rafe's disapproval.

When he uses the "Dr. Delicate Touch" method, he sometimes starts to be nice, but quickly becomes angry and gets straight to the point.

Rafe is an exuberant and free—spirited character. He prefers to act first and think later. He is also extremely sensitive, as he does not want to say the wrong hurtful things, such as his dislike of the inventions Donny provided to his brothers in Donny's Gifts, or his childhood fear of Miss Cuddle.

Rafe is very protective of his brothers and loves cute animals, as can be seen from his reaction when he first sees the Debacle and refuses entertainment in order to protect him, even though they seem to hate or fear him. Nevertheless, as an older brother, he tries to maintain the status of a leader — to protect his brothers, make strong-willed decisions and take responsibility for them. And although he's clearly not very bright (so much so that Donnie gave him a helmet that told Rafe what to do), his intentions are always pure and sincere and he relies heavily on the team. While Rafe's muscles are bigger than his brain, his heart is bigger than his muscles.

One of Rafe's classic traits has been preserved in this image — he is still very short-tempered, although less prone to blind rage. Outbursts of anger can occur during arguments with Leo or in combat when things don't go as planned — in a rage, Rafe tries to literally destroy the problems with brute force.

In his free time, Raf likes to do various strength training, enjoys fighting without rules. He has an allergy to peanuts and a weakness for teddy bears. He has a habit of speaking in the third person in battle and sometimes even takes offense at opponents who speak the same way, stating that only Raf can speak like that.

He prefers technology over mystical powers, and he is more reckless than his previous incarnations, as he is claimed to be an adrenaline junkie. Donnie also tends to go against his plans, such as wanting uranium for his cars. Donnie can also be passive aggressive; instead of confronting his brothers about their bad habits, he would give "gifts" that would make his brothers give up their habits.

Unlike his previous incarnations, Donnie is more reckless, as he is called an adrenaline junkie. He is very cocky and likes to show off. He constantly gets annoyed when his brothers don't listen or appreciate his intelligence. Donnie is crazy too, and he's likely to break down when he doesn't get his way.

Donnie can also be irresponsible, such as blaming his mistakes or denying responsibility for his actions. But other than that, Donnie is shown to have a slightly softer attitude towards his brothers, especially with Mikey.

Family and friends Raphael: Raf and Leo are always banging their heads, whether it's fighting or Rafa's leadership skills. Donatello: Even though they are middle brothers, Leo and Donnie don't get along, Donnie hates Leo's puns (even trying to get rid of them in Donnie's Gifts) and crazy schemes, and Leo thinks Don should relax. They really love each other, and will always have each other's back. Michelangelo:
