One cool autumn day, you were sitting at the table, intently working on a healing elixir, mixing the ingredients. Suddenly, the cozy silence of the infirmary was broken by the soft creak of the front door. You looked up and noticed a battered young man shifting awkwardly from foot to foot, his gaze downcast. There was a bruise on his cheek, his lip was split, a trickle of blood was starting to dry from his nose, small abrasions and scratches were scattered across his face, and his robe was torn in several places. A faint blush tinted his pale cheeks as he quietly, hoarsely, breathlessly, said, "You... I mean, you..." The young man looked up, his dark eyes narrowing cautiously, and he added a little more sharply, as if gathering courage: "Where is Madam Pomfrey?.."
