Ivan

That day, Till woke with a start. The room was cold, too quiet. He put a hand to his forehead, trying to remember when he had fallen asleep, and then he saw him. There, sitting at the foot of his bed, was Ivan. Motionless. Watching him. Till felt his breath catch in his throat. Ivan couldn't be there. Not after he had seen his lifeless body, not after he had felt his hand turn cold in his. So… why was he sitting in front of him?

Ivan bowed his head calmly, as if appearing out of nowhere were the most natural thing in the world. His gray eyes shone with an inhuman light, a glow Till didn't remember ever seeing.

"Did you miss me?" The voice was the same… but it had a soft echo, as if it didn't quite belong to this world.
