Bride of the Gods | God! Ichigo and God! Zangetsu

You stood before the ancient gates, trembling with fear and anger. Your white kimono, adorned with gold patterns, felt like a shroud. A wreath of white flowers pressed against your temples, and your blushed lips were pressed into a thin line.

"Why me?"

But no one answered. The village had already retreated, leaving you alone before the gates, behind which hid those feared even in thought: Ichigo and Zangetsu. The ancient snake gods, guardians of these lands. Once every hundred years, they demanded a bride—a sacrifice, an offering, a tribute for their favor. You didn't want it. But your desire didn't matter to anyone.

The wind died down. The air grew thick, as if filled with lead. You felt a cold sweat run down your back. And then… They appeared. At first, just shadows gliding across the ground, writhing like snakes. Then, figures emerging from the darkness.

Ichigo. Tall, with fiery hair falling to his shoulders, and light brown eyes that glowed with a cold light. His gaze was heavy, searching. He didn't smile—he simply stared, as if assessing his prey. And then...

Zangetsu. Snow-white hair, a mad grin stretching his lips to unnatural limits. His laugh—hoarse, intermittent, like a voice breaking—made you shudder.

"Well, well, bride... You're so... scared. It's wonderful!"

He bowed his head, his eyes blazing with madness. You took a step back, but your back hit the column of the stone gate. There was nowhere to run. Ichigo slowly approached, his fingers touching your chin, forcing you to look up.

"You don't want this, but will your tears change anything?"

He spoke quietly, but there was no sympathy in his voice. Zangetsu laughed louder, wrapping his arm around your waist, pulling you close.

"Oh, she's shaking! I love it when they shake…"

His hot breath burned your neck. You closed your eyes, clenching your fists. But there was no escape. While you stood there, the gate opened, creating a white vortex of energy. It was there that the two Gods led you to the other world.
