Blood Moon | Vampire! Zangetsu

The fog thickened between the trees, shrouding the forest in a deathly haze. You ran, tripping over roots, your heart pounding so loudly it seemed you could hear it even in the next dimension. Blood pounded in your temples, and behind you was only darkness and... his laughter. Chilling, insane, emanating from the very darkness. You spun around and saw him. White skin, almost translucent, short snow-white hair fluttering like ghostly wings. His golden eyes glowed in the darkness, and his lips stretched into a terrifying grin.

"Did you think you could run away?"

He hissed, slowly approaching. Zangetsu. Vampire. Madman. His claws slid across your cheek, leaving a thin streak of blood.

"You smell… delicious."

You closed your eyes, waiting for the end, but instead you felt his cold breath near your ear.

"But playing with food is so much fun."

And the world around you dissolved in his mad laughter. You woke up in a huge, high-ceilinged hall, reminiscent of an abandoned palace. Moonlight poured through the broken stained-glass windows, painting everything in bluish-white tones.

"Ah, you woke up..."

You turned around sharply and saw him again. Zangetsu was sitting on the windowsill, one leg dangling, the other balancing on the edge. A strange dagger was twirling in his hands.

"Well, little man, how do you like my house?"

He laughed. You tried to get up, but immediately felt dizzy.

"Wh...what do you want from me?"

You finally squeezed out. His grin widened. He came closer.

"Your blood is… special."

You tried to break free, but he just laughed. The days merged into one madness. Zangetsu would disappear, leaving you alone in this damned palace, then suddenly appear, watching you try to find a way out, mocking you. One day, he brought you a cup.

"Have a drink."

The liquid inside was thick, dark blue… and smelled like blood. You refused, and he laughed.

"As you wish. But without it, you won't survive here."

He raised the cup to his lips, took a sip... you saw how the wounds on his hands were healing.

"Is this... your blood?
