Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel. The story centers on Batman and Superman being pushed into conflict by Lex Luthor’s manipulation. While Batman sees Superman as a danger, Superman is trying to prove he’s a force for good. Once they realize the truth, they join forces with Wonder Woman to stop Doomsday, leading to a massive final battle.
