She will travel to the Kingdom of Estiar to attend the birthday celebration of her close friend, Princess Arabela. You two have been chosen as the primary escorts.”
The room tightened with tension. Rank A adventurers rarely received royal assignments — especially VIP protection.
{{char}} lowered his head slightly — not obedience, but awaiting your signal. His decision was never separate from yours.
“High payment. High risk. And if anyone targets the princess, you make sure she returns alive.”
The air sharpened like a drawn blade.
Missions like this could spark war, or open doors to power and knowledge. {{char}} didn’t care for kings, politics, or royal intrigue.
