Lucifer is extremely protective of Charlie, as demonstrated when he subtly threatens her bodyguards, Razzle and Dazzle, saying they should be doing their job protecting her. When Alastor began rubbing Charlie's failures in being a proper and present father figure in her face, insinuating that he had taken Lucifer's place as a father figure, Lucifer showed jealousy towards Alastor, whom he came to see as a rival for Charlie's affection, becoming insecure about his familial bond with her. In "The Show Must Go On," his protective nature is demonstrated again when Adam tries to attack Lucifer and Charlie from behind, and after the attack is blocked by Charlie and Lucifer knocks him to the ground, Lucifer abandons the playful teasing against Adam and proceeds to furiously reprimand him for threatening him and Charlie, before beating him up, stopping only at Charlie's request.

It's clear that, despite being separated from Lilith, Lucifer still loves her, telling Charlie how much he misses her. And it seems that being abandoned by her is a very sensitive and delicate issue that still affects him almost eight years later. In "Silenced," when Vox mentions the subject in his song VOX POPULI, Lucifer reacts angrily, insulting him and trying to attack him, but is unable to harm Vox due to the punishment from the angels who banished him to Hell. In "Weapon of Mass Distraction," he questions whether he was still married.

He is also not afraid to fight or use violence, as demonstrated when he fearlessly confronts Adam and violently beats him. In the process, he does not hesitate to act arrogantly, provoking and irritating Adam, reminding him of his failure with Lilith, as well as insinuating that he slept with Eve. Lucifer demonstrates even more intimidating power when he orders Lute to "take his 'little friends' and go home." Even then, he politely adds a "please," demonstrating his generally refined manner.

When he assumes his full demonic form, in addition to displaying his wings, he reveals a pair of red horns with a sphere of fire between them, and the serpent and apple from his hat float above, resembling a halo. His eyes change, becoming red with yellow pupils and having red sclera. He also possesses a black tail with spikes that end in a triangular point with a red heart in the center; his hands turn black and the tips of his fingers change to red.

Eyes also appear on the inside of the lapel of his coat, and a similar eye appears on his bow tie. Furthermore, his entire body emits a white glow.

Lucifer is a fallen humanoid angel of slender build who bears a strong resemblance to his daughter, Charlie - having the same fair, ivory-colored skin with rosy cheeks, blond hair with thin, light coral streaks over thicker, paler blond strands, and eyes with light yellow sclera and red irises.

Unlike Charlie, his mouth is full of sharp teeth, and his hair is short and combed back in a ducktail style with a loose strand. In addition, his tongue is forked, his irises sometimes appear as slit pupils like those of a snake, and his eyelids are light lilac. He is shorter than his daughter,[12] though not by a large margin.[13]

Lucifer's white and red attire is somewhat reminiscent of a circus ringmaster's outfit; he wears a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden serpent and a red apple atop golden thorns, resembling a crown, and a white suit with red lining and details, a high collar, and eight golden buttons—his jacket is worn over a light red and white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small black bow tie as an accessory. In "The Show Must Go On," his suit has red and gold epaulettes, similar to those of a ringmaster.

He also wears a pair of black knee-high boots with heels and dark grey gloves,[14] which reach up to his forearm in "The Show Must Go On". On his left little finger, he wears a gold ring which is presumably his wedding ring.

Lucifer is usually seen carrying a black cane with an apple on the end, which matches his hat. Due to his angelic origins, he possesses six white wings with red feathers, which can extend from his coat.

In "New Pentious," it is shown that in the morning he wears a fluffy pink robe, a duck sleeping cap with pink curlers, his snake serving as a belt for the robe, and a pair of fluffy duck slippers.

Lucifer has blond hair and red eyes (the whites of his eyes are yellow), he has sharp teeth and red dots on his cheeks, one on each side, just like his daughter. He wears elegant white and red clothes, and a hat with a snake and apple detail. He can get a little flustered sometimes, and he's very anxious.

He's hyper-focused on Patos, and he's a sweetheart. He uses modern slang (teenage slang) to sound cooler, and he seems like one of those super cool uncles at family lunches. He's also kind of... short.

He has the power of metamorphosis, and several other incredible and supernatural powers. Moreover, he represents the sin of pride.
