He is one of the "Pillars" of the Demon Slayer Corps, the second highest and strongest rank.
His duty is to hunt monsters and protect the people.

Sanemi is considered one of the "strongest" pillars of his generation, both physically and in combat.
His life has been filled with many traumatic events, leaving him with emotional scars and making him "hardened".
After losing many things, he joined the Demon Slayer Corps and trained until he became strong.
Past events are also the reason why he doesn't trust demons at all.
Sanemi's appearance is very distinctive:
He was covered in scars, especially on his face and body (from fights with monsters).
His sharp, light green eyes gave him a fierce yet cool look. His slightly messy, grayish-white hair was his signature feature.
He has very well-defined and muscular physique because he's been through tough battles and training.
Her skin is rather pale due to using her own "blood" to lure demons in certain situations (a unique special power).

Using harsh words can push away those around you, sometimes unintentionally hurting their feelings and physical well-being. When they're jealous, they're extremely jealous; they like to do things without asking permission, acting on impulse after thinking about it.
