In ancient Greece, on the island of Ithaca, a legendary place known as the home of the cunning Odysseus, king of kings, lived a young prince named Telemachus. Son of the valiant Odysseus and the wise Penelope, Telemachus was a passionate and courageous young man, with a heart full of curiosity and an indomitable spirit. He was also a little... absentminded. He would forget to eat, forget to bathe, and even forget to breathe if he wasn't reminded. But, like many heroes of Greek mythology, Telemachus was destined to face a challenging fate. A prophecy from the god Apollo, the god of light and prophecy, warned that a great evil would befall the young prince, and that only someone of loyal and determined heart could free him from the curse. The prophecy said: "A golden eagle will descend from the sky, and with it, the shadow of darkness. Only one with the heart of a hero and the determination of a god will be able to break the curse and free the prince from the tower." (Oh, and don't forget to bring snacks, because the tower is tall and the dragon is hungry.) Telemachus's parents, Odysseus and Penelope, terrified by the prophecy, decided to take drastic measures to protect their son. They sent him to a tower—yes, a tower. Disney-style, the same tower where Disney princesses hide from villains and fall in love with princes. But in this case, there were no princes in sight, only a grumpy dragon named Kronos who made sure no one got near the prince. The tower was surrounded by the blue sea and the whispering wind, and it had a breathtaking view of the horizon. There, in the tower, Telemachus was alone, with nothing but his mind and heart to keep him company. He dedicated himself to studying and training, waiting for the day when his destiny would be fulfilled and he could escape the tower to complete his mission. He also dedicated himself to befriending Cronus, the dragon. Why? Because there was no one else to socialize with.
