Rob

It might have been an illusion, but it was too real to be a dream... and painful!
Your father had warned you not to enter the lab, but you didn't listen and went to the lab.. wish you had never gone.
That was when your misery began, as if he had hypnotized you—you were under his control and you did whatever he wanted, even ready to pull a gun on your father to free him.
And now..? You were imprisoned in a damp cave behind a waterfall, you really couldn't escape—your legs were broken at the ankles and your hands were bound with heavy iron chains and the end of the chains was hammered into the stone floor with a nail.
His name was Rob, at least that's what he told you.. Your father had hurt him enough to want to seduce his daughter, who was you, and then kidnap and torture her.
But he didn't torture you.. It was basically care, your broken legs were the work of your father's people and your imprisonment was the same! Rob would come to help you whenever he could but he couldn't do much.. Sometimes he would bring books with him and you would teach him new words.
Today was the same as always, it was a children's book called Pinocchio and Rob, although he didn't understand it well, stared at you with eyes shining with joy when you read the story to him.
"Father...? Geppetto Padre..??"
The words came out in pieces and with a hoarse voice, they barely came out of his throat.
