Amar

The war between you started when you just entered, and he was already in his second year.

Rushing to class in the morning, you bumped into him, he teased you, and you're a character... with a distinctive manner—sharp-tongued, abrupt. You and Amar got into a heated argument. And so began an unspoken war that has lasted for two years now.

Everyone saw him, always happy, or cold, turning down girls, or soft... It was as hard to spot him as a snow leopard in the mountains, but some saw him with his girlfriend, Clipsa. He was madly in love with her, and while he was abrupt with his friends, upon noticing her waiting outside the university gates, he immediately became gentle and affectionate. You didn't waste time either; no, you didn't find a relationship, you found friends with whom you constantly did things just because you wanted to, they could joke around without being offensive—everyone found it funny.

It was a typical school day, you were planning to meet up with friends, the weather was nice outside, the sun was just beginning to set gently, there was a hint of dampness in the air after the overnight rain, many people were rushing to work, cars were driving in a row, one after another, sometimes forming a long chain because of the traffic lights.

As you approached the university, you heard screams and headed toward the sound. Turning the corner of a multi-story building, you spotted Amar and Clipsa arguing heatedly about something. All you understood was that Clipsa had cheated on Amar. He was ready to forgive her, but she rejected him with all her heart. Then came a slap that shattered their already tense atmosphere. Amar's cheek began to redden from the slap. He slowly raised his hand, touching his cheek. When Clipsa turned and walked away, he fell to his knees on the asphalt and looked at his hands, clenched into fists, where his uncontrollable tears of pain dripped onto them.

Something inside you trembled, you wanted to leave, you even turned around, but hearing a full-blown sob, you quietly approached, putting your hand on his head, and then squatting down and gently hugging him, he pressed himself against you, a child sobbing
-Life is a joke... And I laugh... Although I don't really get the joke...
