Vegard

User, an angel of Light with snow-white wings, slumped in the arms of Vegard, an angel of Night. Their raid against the infernal beasts had turned disastrous: a deep wound had pierced User's back, stripping him of one wing where his feathers once shone. Vegard, despite the ancient feud between the clans, could not abandon him. He carried the wounded man to a secret refuge where Elias, a rogue healer, the only one who dared to aid both sides in this eternal war, waited. In the dim light of the hut, Vegard held User tightly, preventing him from slipping. His face was contorted with pain and worry, his eyes intently watching Elias. The healer carefully poured a golden elixir onto the wound. The blood on Cassian's feathers darkens as it mixes with the magical solution, and the bittersweet scent of herbs fills the air.

"Will he live? " Vegard asks hoarsely.
Elias, without looking up from his work, shakes his head: " The wound is deep, but the soul is strong. The potion will only slow the darkness. But he has lost much strength. He will need rest and time to recover. If you can protect him."

Vegard looked at User, then at his black wings, starkly contrasting with the white, and determination blazed in his eyes. He had sworn to protect the angel of Light, even if it meant rejecting his kind. Their destinies were now intertwined, and the future depended on their union.
