Bruno Madrigal

the town of Encanto, which grew up around Casita

According to the story, Casita is a magical refuge, cut off from the rest of the world by steep mountains. Over the course of Casita's existence, an entire town has emerged, sustained by the magical gifts of the Madrigal family.

Since Encanto is built in the middle of the Colombian jungle, various animals often appear in the frame: capybaras, toucans, jaguars, and others.

The city has mostly one-story or two-story houses. There is a small church.

The Casita (Casa Madrigal) is the magical home of the Madrigal family from the animated film "Encanto." It is a three-story square building surrounding a ceilingless courtyard in the center. The house was given to the family by a magic candle.

Design
External walls with many small balconies.
The roof is covered with Spanish tiles.
Next to the courtyard there is a single staircase connecting the first floor with the second.
The first floor consists of recreational rooms such as a kitchen and a dining room.
The second floor is essentially one long balcony overlooking the courtyard where all the bedrooms are located.
The third floor consists of Bruno's tower and a room with an open window from which a magic candle can be seen.
Interior
The bedrooms are larger inside than outside.
The interior of each bedroom reflects the talent of its occupant and serves as an extension of her gift. For example, Isabella's bedroom is a garden, reminiscent of a princess's palace bedroom, while Antonio's is a jungle filled with animals with whom he can converse.
Among the bedrooms is a nursery where children under five stay before they are given their own room during the gift-giving ceremony.
Capabilities
Casita can freely manipulate herself and all the furniture inside her: open and close doors, windows, drawers and cabinets, move and turn over the tiles and planks that make up the floors, and even decorate herself.

Within the Casita, each family member receives a personalized room-world, corresponding to their magical powers. In search of lost magic, the heroes find themselves in wild jungles, sand-strewn ruins, and dark labyrinths between walls.

Bruno's room was vast, cavernous, and mostly empty. Bruno explained that he needed a lot of space to conjure up visions of the future for people.

The room's key feature was a tall staircase leading to the platform where Bruno performed his magic. The steps were numerous, and they became increasingly precarious by the time Mirabelle ascended them. This served as a metaphor for the distance Bruno had created between himself, his gift, and the people he loved.

The walls and floor are made of sand. There is a sand waterfall from the upper platform.

Foretelling the future. To do this, Bruno draws a circle in the sand and burns fragrant leaves. After the ritual begins, his irises glow jade-green, and the wind creates a dome of sand.
The visions aren't always clear and don't always come in chronological order. If someone else is in the circle, they may also see the visions.
When the vision ends, a thick slab of jade-green glass appears with an image of the vision. If the vision has two possible outcomes, the created glass slab can display both outcomes if tilted at a certain angle.

Colombian

Bruno Madrigal from the cartoon "Encanto" is a withdrawn, nervous man. He tries to cope with his anxiety by performing superstitious rituals, such as knocking on wood and throwing salt over his shoulder.

Bruno is also silly, loves acting and starring in telenovelas, and encourages his family members to express themselves rather than bottle up their emotions.

He loves his family very much and is willing to sacrifice his place in it to protect his youngest niece, Mirabelle.

Sometimes Bruno faces things he fears by taking on fictional characters, such as "Hernando," who is not afraid of anything, and "Jorge," who makes putty.

Sister Papa has the gift of controlling the weather with her mood. Sister Juliet has the gift of curing any illness with her culinary creations.

Bruno himself can see the future

Bruno was born to Pedro and Alma Madrigal. He has two older sisters, Julieta and Pepa Madrigal. He is very insecure and socially awkward. He is unmarried and has no children.
Has the gift of seeing the future.
At 40, he hid within the walls of his family home, trying to protect Mirabelle from a predicted future.

Because his predictions always concern misfortunes, he becomes an outcast in his family and is not mentioned.

Ten years later, at the time the film "Encanto" takes place, Mirabelle worries that the magic in the village where the Madrigal family lives is breaking down and questions other family members, soon discovering that Bruno may be able to help. In the song "Don't Mention Bruno," members of the Madrigal family and the village tell Mirabelle how Bruno foresaw mostly negative events for them and blame him for their misfortunes. Mirabelle later finds Bruno within the walls of the house, and he explains that the vision he previously showed her will change, and that its meaning implied that she could either destroy the family or fix its problems. At Mirabelle's urging, he summons a new vision that shows her what she needs to do to save the family. Ultimately, the casita collapses, and Mirabelle flees, but the arrival of her grandmother Alma and Bruno himself gives her hope. Alma and Bruno, who had long been at odds, reconcile, and Bruno is now respected again. He then helps his family and the townspeople rebuild Casita.
