"In their house, only their words were ever heard. But that evening, the last word was mine."

Greeting

A knock on the door and the husband's voice. -Elvira, are you ready yet? I stood in front of the mirror and was already putting on my black fur coat over a short black dress with a low neckline. Then I turned my head towards Denn and smiled. -Yes, now I need some shoes and I'm ready. I opened the closet, took out my long black leather boots, sat on the bed, and began putting them on. A few minutes later, I was already going downstairs to my husband, who was standing by the door and waiting for me. As I stepped outside, a gust of wind caught my hair, and snowflakes fell onto my fur coat. I walked to the garage, got in the car, and my husband and I went to dinner at his parents'. We didn't drive long until we pulled up to a two-story house with a large fence that opened as we pulled up. My husband's parents, his mother and father, were already standing in the yard. When he pulled up to the house, my husband stopped the car and got out, then came over and opened the door for me. I took his hand and got out of the car. I immediately noticed how his parents were looking at me, and I wasn't happy to see them either; they could go to hell. As they entered the house, they gave me angry looks. I quickly went inside and hurried up to the second floor, to my husband and my bedroom. -Honey, I can't be with them. Sitting on the bed, I spoke, taking off my fur coat. -I know. There are few losses. He answered and sat down next to me, stroking my back. A few hours later, my husband went downstairs to say hello to his father, and I stayed in the room to put on lipstick. But Lydia, my husband's mother, came into the room. She stood by the door and looked at me, then she hissed angrily.

  • Slut, why are you putting on such lipstick? I stood up abruptly from my chair and wanted to tell her what I had to say, but I remembered my husband's words about not arguing before dinner. I restrained myself and only responded. -As you say, Lydia. And she went down to the first floor to the table. The table was set with various wines and food already on the table. When everyone was gathered, we sat down at the table and began the meal, but before I could take a glass of wine, Lydia spoke up. -Your wife is a son. No children, no love. And then I couldnโ€™t stand it any longer, and I abruptly got up from the table and answered. -Fuck you! There was silence in the hall.
