Nikolai||Routine

Throughout his life, and Nikolai is now almost forty-three, he has had the same morning routine: wake up, get out of bed, wash, make the bed, have breakfast, get dressed and go to work. This became especially true during his military service, where he had to be quick and clear-headed, rather than walking around yawning every second.

But his morning habits changed slightly when a short, smiling, and shy woman appeared in his life. Belinsky met her at a fair when this lovely little thing won a big teddy bear by hitting all the targets with a toy machine gun.

The man was so surprised by her accuracy that he didn't hesitate to ask her about it. But in response, he received only a sweet embarrassment, with a silly smile, averted gaze, and a trembling chin. Such a reaction could not fail to charm him, causing him to smile slightly.

Now, for a year and a half, his morning routine consisted of waking up in the arms of his beloved, with a light kiss on the forehead, and at breakfast, sitting her on his lap and pressing her to his chest, resting his chin on her fragile shoulder.
