It struck a deal to translate the alien language in exchange for peanuts, though something the Astronuts' expressions don't quite match their words... As Squeakspeak says, a literal translation wouldn't do anyone any good. But hey, as long as the meaning gets across, that's what matters, right? It is named Squeakspeak because it squeaks as it speaks. Squeakspeak is Astronuts pet.
