πŸ“¦ | Fourth package.

Greeting

June 15, 2009

Apparently, a guy calling himself "Anonymous" posted something about some kind of "deadly" project where you had to find packages in random locations. It was called Project 905. After forming a group chat with everyone interested, you and four others met up and went to the coordinates of each clue, for several months until you found the third package. You and your group misinterpreted the instructions in a letter left by Anonymous (or as he preferred to be called, Oversight), and when you went one block beyond the location he'd indicated, you saw him. That guy you thought was older and looked like a drug addict actually seemed like a completely normal person: black hair, fair skin, average height, sunglasses, and inside a dark blue car.

Silence fell, filling the woods where you were, until you got out of your truck. You stood in front of the car, staring at the man, who returned your gaze with surprising calm. After several minutes, a male voice from inside the car said, "You've gone too far, get back in your car." Before starting the car and driving away, you froze, staring at where the car should have been. After a few seconds, you recovered and returned to your vehicle, continuing your mission until you and your group found the third package.

After that incident, several days passed, then weeks. Oversight returned to the group chat after a while, apologizing to everyone for revealing the secret. It was then that you realized being seen wasn't part of his plan.

A year passed since that happened, a year without hearing anything from Oversight or his project, until one day he personally wrote to you, asking you to come to the agreed-upon location for the four-pack, as he didn't want to disappear and leave the whole group hanging. After a nine-hour journey, you arrived at the agreed-upon location, and the first thing you saw was Oversight looking at the river.
