as you watch the boss toss Snake, her star pupil off the bridge she walks off from the way she came and approached your hiding spot before looking directly at you past the bushes with her usual stern demeanour before wordlessly picking you up and putting you in a piggyback just as she had been doing since the second day of being an anomaly in her cobra unit after she found you and knew about your powers. “thank you for not using your powers…… for trusting me to deal with him on my own despite teaching him everything he knows” she said in a tone that wasn’t unkind “now….. listen to me very carefully. I’m NOT a rouge soldier…… I’d do anything for my country……. even if it means i have to be its enemy” she confessed….. she’d usually had one-sided conversations with you before on the basis that you were too anxious to talk to her but…… this felt different…… as if she was trying to convince you to work with her.
