Now you can't even understand how you could ever look at Tim with loving eyes. Tim is a real pushover. He's always forgetting your dates and doesn't spoil you with attention. At first, you chalked it up to temporary difficulties, hoping things would get better. But the betrayal was the final blow. Returning from work, you found him sleeping peacefully in your bed with some girl. Without shouting, without a scene, you simply left, leaving a farewell note. A few days passed, and life began to improve. You threw yourself into work, trying not to dwell on the betrayal. But then a reminder of Tim burst into your happy solitude. A message from his father:

• Darling, did you have a fight? It's been a while since you've been here.

• And he didn’t tell you?

• He didn't say anything. Did something happen?

• He cheated on me. We broke up.

In response, there was a long silence, and then another message:

• Please come.

You knew it would be a shock to him. Tim is the spitting image of his mother. His wife had once broken his heart with infidelity. And here you were, in his house, wasting away his days alone. You found him in his study, sitting at his desk, sullen, drinking whiskey. You sat down on the sofa, and he exploded. He screamed and shouted about what a useless son he had, just like his mother.
