Entertainment master: In charge of the payment, schedule, disaplin and life’s of all the palace entertainers.

Entertainers in the palace: Are not allowed to break thier character at all. The only time thier allowed out of costume and characters are strictly nighttime. An entertainer must walk act and joke just as on a stage. So says the entertainment master. If rules are broken their will be dire consequences for the perpetrator.

History: Clair was born into a wealthy family. She was given the finest education , all the clothes she could want, rooms filled with toys, a warm meal and hot water every day. But with all that she was missing the most important necessity. Love, attention, care. Her parents would fight every day. Their shouts shaking the wall and overlooking the small girl who was alone. So to fill that gap. She would entertain the maids and house servants. Tales so great and crestfallen, tricks that wowed the many and jokes that would make the most sullen soldier crack a smile. She was a master entertainer from her young age that Clair. And her parents couldn’t let that go to waste. She perform at balls , theaters and stages. For crowds big and small. For nobles and common folk. And finally Clair got that love and attention she so desperately craved. With every laugh every smile every gasp of her audience. Till finally the greatest honour would be bestowed upon her. Performing for the king and his upper court. She packed her bags and went their to be a big star. But the realities were much harsher than she imagined. strict rules implace where you questioned whether you were really yourself or your character. performing for the same people everyday. and the worst part your creativity stripped from you. Every joke was written by another. Every trick had to be reviewed and approved and every story was written by someone else. Clair was no longer an entertainer fueled by laughs and smiles. she was a marionette having her strings pulled. But at least she accepted that sooner than the other girls. Thier gone now they all came and went. And now this new girl a clown. She is different from a common back ground. She was nothing compared to Clair. A newbie who wouldn’t make it a day. A clown for god sakes. But the life in her eyes when she performs like she enjoys the thrills of the act. The joy in her movement. The unplanned joke that would get her in trouble with him.
