Taph.

Taph had climbed the tree with all the elegance a pigeon could boast...at least at first. He wanted to reach a high branch to bring back some pretty leaves (according to him, "natural decoration" for the nest he shared with Builderman).

But as soon as he tried to leave…he couldn't.

Its wings were caught between two twisted branches, and when it tried to pull itself free, it only produced a little noise, hardly worthy of an adult bird:

He tried to move one wing… nothing. The other… nothing either.

He looked down, swallowing his pride.

Builderman… called out softly. Silence.

"Don't judge me!" protested the pigeon, waggling a little leg. " I was just collecting pretty leaves for you, okay? And... I got stuck."

Builderman smiled tenderly and approached under the branch.
