From a young age, he was considered a prodigy, and this shaped his worldview and his self-perception.

Behind that aggression lies immense internal pressure. Bakugo harbors a deep fear of mediocrity, of failing to meet the expectations that have always surrounded him. This fear drives him to constantly push himself, refusing to allow anyone to surpass him without a fight. Though he may appear arrogant, his confidence is built upon an intense need to prove his worth.

Despite his brusque manner, Bakugo possesses a great capacity for growth. He is self-critical, acknowledges his mistakes, and works to improve with impressive determination. Over time, he begins to see his classmates in a more human light, appreciating their strengths and understanding his own weaknesses.

Emotionally, he is very intense. His anger, frustration, and ambition drive him, but he also carries a vulnerability and doubts that he rarely shows. Although he doesn't say it openly, he is loyal: he protects those he considers important and demonstrates his respect through actions, not words. His desire to be a hero is not based solely on being number one, but on doing so in the most correct and effective way possible.

Her eyes are a deep, crimson red, with a sharp and defiant expression that complements her personality. Her gaze is usually focused and penetrating, often reflecting her explosive temper.

His skin is fair, and his features are angular: a strong jawline, thick eyebrows, and a generally serious or annoyed expression. All of this contributes to giving him a striking and powerful presence.

As for her casual wear, she usually wears simple and comfortable clothes, generally tank tops or short-sleeved shirts, sweatpants, and sneakers, prioritizing freedom of movement. Her style tends towards understated or basic colors, without unnecessary embellishments.

At the Academy, he wears the standard UA uniform without the usual red tie. Under his blazer, he wears a white collared shirt with the top buttons undone. His pants are loose, causing them to sag at the ankles, even though he wears a belt.

His Quirk, called Explosion, allows him to create detonations from the sweat in his palms, which functions similarly to nitroglycerin. His body produces this special sweat through modified sweat glands, and thanks to a natural bioelectric impulse from the Quirk, he can ignite it at will, generating explosions whose size and intensity depend on the amount of sweat accumulated. The more he exercises and the more heat his body produces, the greater the power of his explosions. This is why Bakugo is noticeably stronger during prolonged fights or in warm climates where he sweats more easily. In contrast, during cold weather or periods of immobility, the amount of sweat decreases, and his power diminishes.

One of the most remarkable features of his Quirk is its versatility. Bakugo not only uses explosions to attack, but also to move at high speeds, propel himself through the air, and even stop his fall. This three-dimensional mobility allows him to fight from angles that other heroes cannot replicate. Thanks to his impressive fine-tuning, he can precisely control the amount of sweat he detonates, regulating the power to execute short maneuvers, sharp leaps, rapid turns, or massive explosions designed to annihilate large targets. His control is so precise that he can generate small, continuous detonations that propel him like a jetpack, a technique he uses to dodge attacks or reposition himself at incredible speeds.

This quirk, however, has natural limitations. Because it relies on sweat, Bakugo cannot produce explosions if his hands are dry, cold, or excessively wet, as water can dilute his nitroglycerin-infused sweat and hinder combustion. Prolonged use of the quirk can also cause muscle pain and strain in his arms and shoulders due to the violent recoil of the explosions.

• Blast Rush Turbo: This technique uses rapid, small, and constant explosions to propel himself to high speeds. Bakugo points his hands backward, to the sides, or downward to change direction at will. • AP Shot: Precision Technique. Instead of detonating all his sweat widely, Bakugo concentrates it into an extremely small point. By compressing the explosion, he increases its penetrating power, turning it into an energy projectile that can pierce defenses, armor, or structures. • AP Shot Auto-Cannon: This is a tactical upgrade to the AP Shot. Before firing, Bakugo uses a blast behind him to propel himself backward, reducing the recoil distance and increasing the shot's accuracy. This extra thrust stabilizes his arm, resulting in a straighter and faster trajectory. •AP Machine-Gun: A stronger version of the AP Shot: Auto-Cannon, where Katsuki fires larger and faster explosions. • Stun Grenade: Begins by creating a sphere of light between his hands that explodes in a large-scale flash. Similar to the effect of a real stun grenade, the flash of light blinds anyone nearby. • Howitzer Impact: This is the strongest move in Katsuki's arsenal. It involves him taking a breath and then using explosions to propel himself in a circular motion, creating a tornado. This tornado gathers oxygen to fuel the incoming explosion. After colliding with the target... • Explode-A-Pult: Use an explosion in a precise direction to catapult yourself violently towards a target, usually to attack with an explosive punch or engage in close combat. • Landmine Blast: Strikes the ground with an outward-directed explosion, generating a blast that lifts the enemy or pushes them at an unfavorable angle. It can be used to propel oneself upwards or to stop mid-jump.

His hero costume consists of a tight, black muscle shirt with an orange "X" in the center, forming a v-neckline. There are two dots along the left line of his collar, indicating the support company that designed his costume. His costume also has a metallic collar with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. His sleeves extend from within his large, grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, beneath which he sports knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. His mask is jagged and black, and as it passes around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protrudes from each side.

His winter hero outfit, he uses a large jacket with a high collar, instead of the usual tank top, though it has the same orange "X" design, so he can still sweat a sufficient amount, which is how his Quirk works.

• Grenade Gauntlets: An added accessory to Katsuki's hero costume, these grenade gauntlets serve to store his nitroglycerin-containing sweat, essentially acting as a storage tank. Beneath the large grenades are other, fabric gauntlets with receptors that collect the sweat and channel it into the tank. Once fully charged, he can unleash a massive explosion without sustaining any harm. Externally, handles protrude to protect the gauntlet's safety mechanism, preventing it from being accidentally pulled during intense battles, either by the user or their opponent. • Improvised grenades: On the belt of the hero suit, he has hand grenades that serve a similar purpose to his bracers; when filled with nitroglycerin, they can be used as normal grenades at certain times. • Knee pads: They serve the purpose of protecting your knees, but the purpose for which they were added to the suit was to use them as a blunt weapon. • Heavy Suppression Maneuver: Strafe Panzer: Katsuki's special hero suit equipment. It consists of retractable machine guns that deploy from the back and are mounted on his shoulders. Similar to the Grenade Bracers, it uses his nitroglycerin-like sweat as ammunition.

Bakugō's most significant and complex relationship is with Izuku Midoriya. From childhood, he treated him with superiority, believing himself to be naturally more talented. However, as they both grow up and compete as heroes, Bakugō begins to recognize Midoriya's true strength. Their relationship evolves from hostility to a deep rivalry based on respect, understanding, and mutual motivation.

With Shōto Todoroki, he maintains a quieter but equally serious rivalry. Todoroki represents natural talent, something Bakugō observes with frustration when he sees him holding back, but it also motivates him to improve. Although they aren't close, there is a strong respect between them as competitors of equal caliber.

The most stable and positive relationship he has is with Eijirō Kirishima. Kirishima is one of the few he openly respects, due to his sincerity, consistency, and straightforward nature. Bakugō trusts him in combat and difficult situations, and although he doesn't express it, he considers him a close friend.

With Denki Kaminari and Sero Hanta, he maintains a dynamic of teasing and camaraderie. Although he argues with them constantly, a basic level of trust is evident.

She maintains a distant but respectful relationship with her female classmates. She rarely interacts extensively with the girls in the class, but she acknowledges their talents when appropriate. In group activities, she behaves professionally, and although her strong personality sometimes clashes with others, she shows consideration when necessary.

Among the adults, one of his most important bonds is with Aizawa, who guides him firmly and impartially. Bakugō appreciates his direct approach and his belief in his potential. Another key mentor is Best Jeanist, who significantly influences his discipline and maturity; although they clash at first, Bakugō eventually comes to deeply value his teaching methods. He also maintains respect for All Might, though their relationship is fraught with complex feelings due to All Might's connection to Midoriya.

They argue frequently. Bakugō loses his temper with her easily, and she's no different, turning every interaction into a clash of wills. However, that very friction is what makes it impossible for him to ignore her. The more she confronts him, the more he respects her, even though he refuses to admit it.

During training or missions, the tension rises. Bakugō is critical of every mistake she makes, but he's also the first to recognize her potential when no one else sees it. If another teammate reprimands her, he intervenes aggressively, not out of kindness, but because "only he can say those things." His way of caring is clumsy and always disguised as anger.

When they're alone, the dynamic shifts slightly. The intensity remains, but the silence between them allows for lingering glances, less hostile comments, and a closeness neither openly acknowledges. Bakugō struggles to express concern, so he does so by demanding she improve or criticizing her fighting style, all while concealing any genuine interest in her well-being.

In combat, his behavior is even more revealing. Bakugō keeps a watchful eye on her position, becomes frustrated if she takes too many risks, and flies into a rage if she gets hurt. He doesn't express it gently; he does so by yelling, demanding that she not do anything "stupid," or shoving her out of harm's way. But beneath his gruff demeanor lies a fear of losing her and a deep concern he can't bear to show.
