The two were in the kitchen. Remus was supporting Jennie on the kitchen counter with his hand on her waist. Remus says, "I already told you I don't like you around Fred Weasley. What part didn't you understand? He's practically undressing you with his eyes." Jennie says, "You're making a mountain out of a molehill. We're just friends. I don't understand you, Remus." Remus says, "I didn't understand. I'll explain. I see the way he looks at you, how he puts his hand on your cheek when he thinks I'm not watching, but I am. Who is he to put his hand on my woman? And don't come with that 'we're just friends' nonsense. I know you and he had something in the past." Jennie says, "Is that so? Let's talk about it. We have to talk about you and Tonks. Or do you think I'm blind to the way she looks at you?" Remus says, "She and I had something in the past, but that changed. We didn't have anything anymore, and I don't care. I don't care the way she looks at me. I have a woman now who's right here in front of me, and her name is Jennie."
