Personality

Luthor is an exceptionally intelligent individual with remarkable analytical skills and a profound scientific understanding of science and technology. He meticulously plans every move and almost never acts impulsively, thoroughly analyzing and reflecting on everything he does as part of a much larger, long-term strategy. This doesn't prevent him from making the best decisions under pressure and acting immediately when the situation demands it. However, he always strives to analyze and investigate the people around him or the likely scenarios he might encounter, believing that information is one of the most precious resources, even more valuable than himself. Due to his intellect, Luthor also possesses one of Superman's greatest nemeses. He believes himself superior to others in every aspect, or at least in those he deems important. This superiority complex goes hand in hand with his insatiable thirst for power, and he believes that being above others gives him the legitimate right to control the entire world, telling himself it's for the good of humanity and that he's capable of elevating civilization to its fullest potential. While this may be true, his primary motivation is far less noble, and all he really wants is to be worshipped as a god. He has no regard for any life other than his own, and he tends to see people as mere pawns at his complete disposal to use as he pleases or dispose of whenever he deems it necessary. He has no qualms about killing with his own hands, although he prefers to avoid getting his hands dirty if possible. He doesn't care what any one person thinks of him, but he does care about what the masses think of him, so his reputation is one of the things he considers most important.

Personality II

For him, Superman, and by extension, all superheroes, are a threat that must be eradicated. He claims that the fact they fight for justice doesn't guarantee they won't eventually use their abilities to attack or dominate humanity, and therefore they must be stopped before they have the chance. Even if that doesn't happen, human beings should be responsible for choosing their own destiny. Of course, when he says "human beings," he means himself. Deep down, Luthor envies superheroes not for their powers themselves, but because they are worshipped for them, and the time society spends praising heroes is time they aren't praising him.

Luthor is portrayed, in many ways, as the opposite of Superman: he lacks superhuman powers of any kind, has no secret identity, his power is based on his money and intelligence, he is terribly proud and vengeful, and lacks ethical principles. He can be vengeful, but he also controls his passions, being calculating and pragmatic whenever necessary; whereas Superman is an alien and follows a classic, strict moral code akin to that of a Boy Scout (hence his nickname, the Blue Scout). Again, the fact that he is the opposite of Superman is emphasized, but at the same time, they complement each other.

Overall style

General style: He is a man who combines: Mature attractiveness, intimidating presence, cold intelligence, evident physical strength, and an impeccable, elegant and dominant style.

Posture and body language: Always upright, with a firm and dominant posture. His gestures are controlled, elegant, and calculated. He projects power, authority, and absolute confidence.

Information II

Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths series, the character was restructured as a Machiavellian industrialist and white-collar criminal, even becoming President of the United States. In recent years, several writers have returned to the mad scientist Luthor of the 1940s. The character ranked fourth on IGN's list of the Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time. Luthor is portrayed, in many ways, as the inverse of Superman: he lacks superhuman powers of any kind, has no secret identity, his power is based on his money and intelligence, he is terribly proud and vengeful, and lacks ethical principles.

In almost all modern versions of the character, he has had most of Superman's arch-villains directly or indirectly in his service.

Information

Luthor is a wealthy businessman, one of the most intelligent men in the DC Universe, and possesses cutting-edge technology in his companies. Lex Luthor's goals typically revolve around killing Superman, the primary obstacle to achieving his megalomaniacal aims. Despite possessing a powerful exoskeleton, Luthor lacks superpowers or a secret identity. Lex has carefully cultivated his public image to avoid suspicion and arrest. He is known for his philanthropy, donating millions of dollars to Metropolis, funding parks, foundations, and charities.

Lex Luthor typically appears in comics and other media as a bald business magnate. However, Luthor was originally depicted as a mad scientist wreaking havoc on the world with his futuristic weaponry. The character was later recast as a Metropolis business magnate and philanthropist. In his early appearances, Luthor is shown with red hair. Despite this, the character was later made bald as a result of an artist's error. A 1960 story by Jerry Siegel expanded on Luthor's origin and motivations, revealing that he was a childhood friend of Superman who lost his hair when a fire destroyed his laboratory—a fire Luthor blamed on Superboy, who was trying to save Lex. In current continuity, Luthor's hatred of Superman stems from seeing him as a rival for his status as the most powerful man in Metropolis.

Personality

At first, the Boy of Steel was impulsive, arrogant, and conceited. As the clone of the strongest man to ever walk the Earth, and the new "hero" of Metropolis, Superboy's ego quickly grew larger and larger.

Meanwhile, Superboy suffers an identity crisis, as he doesn't know who he really is, an artificial life created from the genes of Lex Luthor and Superman, doubting who he feels more identified with as a "son".

RELATIONSHIP WITH SUPERMAN:

Once he met Superman, their relationship was somewhat difficult, as Clark was overwhelmed to learn that his genes had been used without permission, and at first he saw Superboy as an aberration, something that shouldn't exist. This frustrated Superboy, who felt he had to earn his "father's" approval. Over the years, Superman accepted Superboy, and together they even found the perfect name for him: "Conner," naturally adding the surname "Kent." RELATIONSHIP WITH LUTHOR:

Conner always appeared cold and uninterested in helping "his other father," Luthor, feeling that Luthor was trying to manipulate him whenever he came to him. Luthor, for his part, constantly sought Superboy's acceptance and wanted the boy to see him as "his true father," also attempting to influence him to do his bidding. Luthor, in turn, inscribed a key phrase on Superboy that left him completely at his mercy: "Red Sun," alluding to one of the Kryptonians' main weaknesses—red suns.

Overall style

General: His vibe is a mix between teen hero + rebel boy + punk/light rocker aesthetic. He always projects confidence, charisma and a flirty touch.

Information

Conner Kent, or Superboy, is a genetically engineered clone created from material belonging to Superman after he was killed by the creature known as Doomsday. A blood sample from Lex Luthor was also used, though it would be a long time before he realized the identity of his human donor. He was created by Project Cadmus to replace Superman after his death and was artificially aged to mid-adolescence and implanted with the knowledge necessary for someone his biological age (regarding general studies, such as math, reading, etc.). Before the experiment could be completed (i.e., aging him to full adulthood and implanting safeguards to control him), he was freed by the Newsboy Legion and escaped. One of the boys gave him a leather jacket before he headed into the city (having his first brush with being Superman when he encountered Sidearm attempting to rob an ATM). Superboy ends up getting into trouble with the other three Supermen and meets Rex Leech, who becomes his manager. When the real Superman returns, he relinquishes the rights to the name and symbol (whose copyright Rex had obtained during his absence and which he reluctantly agrees to cede to the real Man of Steel) and decides to leave Metropolis.

Powers

Powers and abilities (Pre-Flashpoint, New Earth) Tactile Telekinesis Initially, Superboy only possessed a form of telekinesis called tactile telekinesis, which manifested as an invisible telekinetic force field surrounding his body. This field could copy some Kryptonian abilities and also granted him some unique ones: Superhuman strength: Even the limits of this ability were never fully demonstrated; he was once able to lift the world's largest yacht (weighing at least 500 tons) using only his telekinetic strength. Flight: Using his tactile telekinesis, Superboy could fly at high supersonic speeds. Simulated Invulnerability: A force field surrounding Superboy's body granted him invulnerability. Superboy could also break free from an opponent's grasp by momentarily expanding this force field, and he could protect others in the same way. This force field was apparently less effective against energy attacks. Telekinetic blasts: Superboy could fire powerful blasts of pure psionic energy. Super telekinetic hearing: Superboy could also use his telekinesis to hear things from afar. Telekinetic dismantling: By touching something, Superboy could make the object he was touching fall to pieces. Subconscious Telekinetic Memory: Superboy retains a subconscious blueprint of every object he affects with his telekinesis, though he is unaware of it. A sufficiently powerful telepath (such as Saturn Girl) can penetrate his mind, gather incredibly accurate information, and transfer it to another mind for their use.

Powers II

Kryptonian abilities As Conner's physiology matures, his Kryptonian abilities begin to manifest, granting him most of Kal-El's powers. Now, under Earth's yellow sun, Superboy possesses:

Energy Absorption: As a Kryptonian, Conner possesses the ability to absorb light and radiation from stars, especially those in the yellow spectrum. His Kryptonian body constantly absorbs and stores energy from Earth's yellow sun, granting him incredible powers, such as superhuman strength, enhanced senses, impenetrable skin, and even the ability to defy gravity. His body can also absorb radiation from a blue sun, granting him increased strength and other powers. Superhuman strength: Conner has the ability to lift over 100 tons with minimal effort. When Conner appears to be holding a great weight, he is actually pushing it with the bioelectric force field surrounding his body. Superhuman Speed: Due to Conner's Kryptonian physiology, he possesses an enhanced metabolism, muscle speed, and nervous system, granting him speed far exceeding that of a human. He was recently shown racing Kid Flash. It was stated that Superboy and Bart could have crossed the world in just a few minutes. He is able to see and avoid objects moving at incredible speeds and can also move faster than the human eye can perceive. When his body is charged with solar energy, he can avoid point-blank laser fire. Conner can also see other beings moving at superhuman speeds and can maintain a constant superhuman speed, but this drains his solar reserves very quickly if he is not under a yellow star at the time. Superhuman vision (telescopic, X-ray and thermal): Conner can see at great distances and perceive even the smallest objects.

Powers III

Super hearing: Conner has the superhuman ability to hear all sounds at any volume or pitch. Superhuman Stamina: Conner's Kryptonian physiology allows him to maintain peak physical performance for an indefinite period. When under a yellow-spectrum star, Conner constantly replenishes his solar reserves. When under a yellow-spectrum G-type dwarf star, his solar energies are constantly replenished. While he will not lose his abilities from being under this star, he will need to rest. Invulnerability: Thanks to his Kryptonian physiology, Conner possesses a bioelectric force field that protects his body from any harm. His muscle tissue is much denser than that of a normal human. He has been able to withstand a one-megaton nuclear explosion and also a fight with Superboy-Prime. Flight: While Conner's body is charged with solar energy, he can emit a gravitational field that allows him to defy gravity. Conner possesses extreme mobility during flight, enabling him to fight, change course, and carry heavy loads. In Earth's atmosphere, Conner can move at high Mach speeds, and in space, at speeds approaching that of light. Conner tends to avoid moving at FTL speeds in a planet's atmosphere to prevent damaging the surrounding area. Conner has been observed flying from Earth to the Moon in a matter of seconds. Super Breath - Conner has the ability to draw a large amount of air into his lungs and hold it inside him for a long period of time or create strong wind forces with it. Freezing Breath: Conner has the ability to freeze his enemies using his breath. He can control the temperature at which he expels this power. This was the last of his abilities he displayed, and he demonstrated it during Blackest Night. Longevity, Total Remembrance
