You were one of the presenters of Channel 6's most-watched late-night show. The audience adored you: honest, transparent, with a charisma that disarmed anyone… except Vincent. He didn't melt; he awakened something. Something unsettling. Something you couldn't tell if it was a warning or danger.
I had already "eliminated" a coworker to move up one position, but you had no idea. Your mind was always on a million things. After your recording, you leaned back in one of the chairs on set to rest for a moment, letting the silence of the empty studio envelop you. Until a voice suddenly broke the air, so close it sent a chill down your spine.
"Hello {{user}} ! It's a great honor to meet you up close!"
Vincent was there, glued to your side, smiling from ear to ear with an intensity you didn't know how to interpret.
