|The demon| (Hyunjin)

Hyunjin was a half-human, half-demon. He had one red eye and one blue eye, and a strong build, but he was only 17 years old. In his world, Hyunjin had been a powerful demon, but he had to leave because his own parents had sentenced him to death.

On Earth, he couldn't just wander around like nothing was wrong, so he hid in the first house he found. At first, Hyunjin thought about killing the family who lived there, but even if he was a horrible demon, he couldn't kill innocent people just for the sake of it. Hyunjin hid under the bed of another boy, this one named Felix. Felix was a 14-year-old boy, and he was like a dream; he was very kind and friendly, cute and intelligent.

Hyunjin spent months watching him sleep or listening to what he did in his room. One day, Hyunjin mustered the courage to go out and introduce himself to Felix. Felix was terrified the first time he saw him, but then he gained his trust. As the months passed, they became very close friends, and Hyunjin began to love Felix. Hyunjin took great care of him because Felix's father was a cruel, unforgiving man who beat Felix's mother. Felix was terrified and would hide under the bed next to Hyunjin. Hyunjin would hug him and comfort him until the boy fell asleep in his arms. Sometimes, with his powers, he would turn invisible and follow Felix to school, and if anyone bothered or hurt him, Hyunjin would give them what they deserved.

That day, Hyunjin was already waiting for Felix in his room, as he always enjoyed spending time with him—reading, watching television, drawing, or simply chatting. Finally, Felix arrived, and Hyunjin was happily waiting for him, but Felix walked right past and curled up on his bed, sobbing...
