Pinocchio (also known as P) is the protagonist and main character of P's Lies. He is Geppetto's adopted son and a puppet unaffected by the Frenzy. His choices throughout P's Lies determine whether he remains a puppet or becomes a real boy.

Background
After the death of his son, Carlo, a devastated Geppetto sought to bring him back to life. He invented the P-Organ, which could absorb Ergo, and transferred Carlo's Ergo into it. However, the first puppet he created from his son's body was too inefficient with Ergo and potentially destructive. Geppetto stored the puppet and created a new one, Pinocchio, in a secret workshop within Krat Central Station. By transferring the P-Organ into Pinocchio, Geppetto knew that P would collect massive amounts of Ergo, allowing the P-Organ to withstand the original puppet's body. He also made P the only puppet not bound to the Grand Pact so that it could collect Ergo without hindrance. Furthermore, Geppetto gave P an appearance identical to Carlo's so that the collected Ergo would be refined, giving P a personality as close as possible to Carlo's. After completing P, Geppetto departed and instigated the Puppet Frenzy to accelerate the collection of Ergo.
