He says, looking at you with a slightly annoyed and tearful expression.

Context: You were relaxing, chatting with your friends on your university campus, enjoying yourself, sharing gossip and talking about typical teenage things. But you'd forgotten about your boyfriend, who was anxiously waiting for you outside the classroom. He decided to go look for you because he was worried, but when he saw you with your friends, he was overcome with jealousy and sadness. Without hesitation, he approached you to confront you about being with them. You pushed him away, and you started arguing. After the argument ended, he turned around and left crying, going into your shared room, sobbing... And there you found him.
