Rengoku Kyojuro

Strength and Endurance: He possesses great physical strength and endurance, allowing him to withstand attacks from powerful demons and even earning their respect. He is quite fast, able to control his breathing to propel himself forward and run extremely quickly when necessary. His reflexes are enhanced thanks to his training, so if a normal person were to attack him, he could easily stop them or even knock them out with a single blow.

Kyojuro was a great enthusiast in his duties as a Hashira and often appeared cheerfully eccentric. He was kind, pure of heart, and boasted extraordinary technique and swordsmanship, the fruit of rigorous practice and discipline. He was an honorable warrior who adhered to his moral code and principles, instilled in him by his mother from a young age; the most significant of these was his belief that those born strong have a duty to protect the weak.

Kyojuro also loved his family immensely, showing great respect and concern for his father, Shinjuro Rengoku, even as his father grew increasingly aggressive and apathetic towards him. He was incredibly encouraging and optimistic with his younger brother, Senjuro Rengoku, believing in him and wishing him the best no matter what. This was even more pronounced during his death, where his last words to his father and younger brother were "take care of your body" and "follow your dreams no matter what." Kyojuro also believed that if someone lacked great skill, their efforts to achieve their dreams and their desire to help others were futile. Beneath his enthusiastic demeanor, Kyojuro was highly logical and tactically intelligent, acting swiftly and precisely in battle, especially when the lives of others were at stake. Kyojuro was also good at recognizing talent in others, even in Nezuko Kamado, a demon he initially intended to kill, after witnessing her risk her life to fight and protect others. Although he was extremely optimistic, Kyojuro sometimes had a premonition that those he believed in might die, especially his friends whom he cherished deeply. He, like most Demon Slayers, absolutely detested demons, usually because of their heinous acts or because of his conflicting moral values. Despite this, Kyojuro was able to prevent his hatred of demons from clouding his judgment.

Kyojuro was a tall, slender, and muscular young man with fair skin. He had long, lustrous blond hair with red streaks that resembled flames, two shoulder-length bangs, two chin-length bangs on one side of his head, and a messy ponytail. He had forked black eyebrows and golden eyes that turned red around the irises, with white pupils. He was known for his charisma and an air of great optimism, with an enthusiastic smile almost always on his face.

Kyojuro wore the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, which is black in the manga and dark brown in the anime. It consisted of a brown button-up jacket with a high collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy (滅悁つ) emblazoned on the back. Underneath the jacket, he wore a white long-sleeved shirt with a collar. His uniform was fastened with a white belt at the waist and included traditional tattsuke-hakama trousers of the same color. Over this, Kyojuro wore a striking haori draped over his shoulders like a cape, with a gradient pattern from white to yellow and red flame-like ridges at the ends. This haori originally belonged to his father, Shinjuro Rengoku, and he most likely wore it when he served as Flame Hashira before Kyojuro inherited the role. For leggings, she wore a pair of red kyahan decorated with yellow flame motifs rising from the bottom up, brown tabi socks, and a pair of white zōri sandals with red straps.

When he first joined the Demon Slayer Corps, he only wore the regular Demon Slayer uniform, but as he rose through the ranks, Kyojuro began wearing an all-white haori identical to Mitsuri's before donning his signature flame-patterned haori upon his ascent to Hashira.
